I came across this site today and it mentions there are a series of paranormal events that happen like clockwork every year (round the same time).

So I was looking through their paranormal calendar to see if there were any in London (as that’s where I live). And they have one:

The Grenadier Pub, London…
There’s this young soldier who was killed after it was discovered he cheated in a game of cards. His ghost appears every September because that’s when he died. He apparently walks around the pub as if he’s looking for something.

The pub isn’t too far from me, actually. Not that it entirely matters. I’m ok (and excited) knowing that, yes, there’s a haunted pub in London, and that things kick up there around September - but I’m not about to go quench a beer thirst there (maybe one day, I’ll have the bottle to - ‘xcuse the pun!).
