I’ve noticed something a bit strange over the past week or so. I’ve been thinking about something or someone and it happens soon after. For example, I was thinking about a woman I haven’t seen for a while. Just wondering how she was. And then I saw her the next day. I thought about a friend and they called me a couple of minutes later.

I was thinking about a client I used to proofread for. We haven’t been in touch in a bit. Then, whatdoyouknow, I get an email out of the blue from them asking me to proofread for them.

I was reading an ebook about press release writing a couple of days ago because I was wondering if it’s something I’d consider getting into. Then on Thursday, I get an email from someone asking me if I could write a press release for them.

Maybe I’m just reading too much into it. But it’s been happening more than a few times recently.

Another strange thing that happened: my dad’s on holiday at the moment. Last week, my brother, my sister and I called him on the phone at the same time without realising it. I got through to my dad first. When I dropped, the phone rang. It was my sister. Sounding a bit concerned, she said she couldn’t get through to dad and when was the last time I spoke to him. I said I just got off the phone to him so he’s fine. Then when she dropped, my brother called asking the same thing. All three of us had seperately tried to call our dad at the same time. Weird, huh?
